Mario Modica
Managing Director

Mario has over 30 years' experience in the banking, wealth management and financial services industries, including 12 years as Chief Executive at Lonsdale Financial Group from 2000 to 2012.

Mario is currently the Managing Director of Magnitude and is known in the investment community for his strategic growth focus and ongoing innovation. He is highly regarded by his business partners and colleagues alike for his in-depth financial services knowledge, forward thinking nature as well as his authentic approach that always puts the client at the centre of any decision.

Mario holds a degree in Business from the University of Ballarat and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.

Luke Carrington
State Manager (QLD)

Luke has been with Magnitude since 2013. Before assuming the role of State Manager (QLD), Luke worked as an Implementation Manager and a Practice Business Manager. Prior to this, Luke was part of the BT Financial Group Advice Transformation team in Business Analyst and Executive Paraplanner roles, primarily working on the Westpac Financial Planning advice channel. Luke was also previously a practicing Financial Adviser for a period of 8 years in Sydney where he was authorized under the Genesys Wealth and the RI Advice group licences.

Luke holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and a Graduate Diploma in Finance from the University of Technology in Sydney.

Vincent Vella
State Manager (VIC/TAS/WA)

Vince is currently the Magnitude State Manager for VIC, TAS and WA and has over ten years’ experience in the Financial Planning industry. Vince has previously held positions with Retire Invest as a Practice Development Coach, NAB/MLC as an Xplan Trainer and UniSuper as an Advice Business Manager. Vince has worked with a number of IFA’s and institutional businesses to improve their offer and has a passion to develop and grow their businesses.

Mark La Bozzetta
State Manager (VIC/SA)

Mark has over 20 years' experience in banking, technology consulting & wealth management. Most recently, as co-founder of Unison Financial Group, Mark spent 14 years managing a diverse financial services business in roles spanning sales, operations and strategy. As State Manager, Mark brings both a strategic and practical focus to achieving winning outcomes for the Magnitude practices, drawing on the strength of BT Financial Group to deliver innovative solutions and drive value for clients and stakeholders. Mark is a Certified Financial Planner, SMSF Specialist and currently completing Post Graduate studies in Organisational and Executive Coaching.

Jacob Kettler
Practice Implementation Manager

Jacob joined Magnitude in September and has been in Wealth Management since graduating from his Economics degree in 2009. He has held diverse roles in both Australia and France, locally he started his career at Macquarie and continued at CommSec before coming to BT in 2014. His move into Practice Management has followed roles in Compliance, Share Trading, Relationship Management and Insurance. Jacob’s roles have developed his passion of helping people make better financial decisions and in his down time you’ll find him either on the squash court or soccer pitch.

Jeremy Lubrano
State Manager (NSW)

Jeremy is the Practice Manager for Magnitude based in NSW and has been in the Financial Planning industry since 1987.

He has been employed in distribution and practice management roles in Sydney, Brisbane and Singapore and is passionate about the development of financial planning practices. He is married with three children and loves spending time in his garden.

Tom Richardson
Practice Implementation Manager (VIC/SA/WA)

Tom has nearly 15 years' experience in the Financial Services industry with recent roles in business development and paraplanning at AMP.

His background also includes relationship management responsibilities across the Hillross Dealer Group, adviser training, financial planning software development and compliance.

Richard Kelly
Practice Implementation Manager (QLD)

Richard joined Magnitude as a Practice Implementation Manager in 2014, helping practices identify and implement efficiencies in order to improve their businesses.

He have been working in financial services since 1997 and is CFP qualified. Richard has previously worked as a paraplanner and financial adviser with one of the nation’s most recognised dealer groups where he developed a strong technical background, as well as 4 years at XPLAN working primarily in a consulting role to financial advice firms.
